Celebrating Twain
October is Twain Month! Samuel Langhorne Clemens was born November 30, 1835 and died April 21, 1910. The year 2010 marks the 175th anniversary of his birth and the 100th anniversary of his death. It’s time to celebrate! Join the Villages of Forest Park, River Forest, and Oak Park to learn more about this prominent author.

- Origami Frog-Jumping Contest: Tuesday, October 12th at 4 p.m.
- River Adventures with Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer: Saturday, October 16th at 2 p.m.
- Mark Twain’s Music Box: Tuesday, October 26th at 7 p.m.
